 The court security division is responsible for providing certified deputies for all the courts in session. Their job is to maintain order and provide security to the courts as well as the entire facility. The court security division is responsible for the safety and security of all judges, attorneys, employees and citizens who pass through the doors of the Lawrence County Courthouse. We are constantly evaluating and reviewing these procedures and implementing changes when necessary. Some of these measures are plainly visible to the general public but most are not.
